HOT air balloonists gathered in the Riverina over Easter to stage a spectacular "balloon glow''.
Thirteen colourful balloons lit up the night sky at Leeton last night in the display.
The event enthralled a crowd of several thousand people from around the eastern seaboard.
Balloonists also conducted flights at sunrise and sunset over the Easter weekend.
The region's stable weather conditions make it popular with hot-air balloon pilots.
The "balloon glow'' was held as part of festivities during the Leeton Rice Bowl Festival, aimed at celebrating the rice harvest.
