BEEAC farmer Tom Alston is looking for a woman who'll love him until the cows come home and then some.
The 30-year-old is one of six hunky men putting their hearts on the line in the latest season of The Farmer Wants a Wife on Channel 9.
A former Geelong College and Marcus Oldham student, Mr Alston said he was nervous and excited waiting for lovely ladies to sign up and filming to start.
He admitted being dobbed in by a friend, but decided to "go with it" as the current woman in his life was Muffin his dog.
But ladies, she'll be easily won over.
"She's going to love every minute of it, she's a really friendly little dog," Mr Alston said.
The action man said finding a date in the country could be "a bit of a challenge" but now everyone would know he was single.
"It's a good show, friends have done it in the past and had some success. I think it'll open some doors," he said.
"I also want to promote the region and showcase the farm."
Mr Alston listed his hobbies as dirt biking, fishing, boating, camping and partying, and said he was simply looking for a "great girl".
"I'm looking for my soulmate and someone who loves me for who I am," he said.
Mr Alston said he always knew he'd return to the family farm and was encouraged by his parents to live life to the fullest and explore.
"I love to travel and have adventures," he said, skimming over his year in Europe and many years working around Australia.
He's still getting his head around his new celebrity status and the demands of showbiz but encouraged others to sign up.
