A MOTORCYCLIST has been killed on NSW's south coast, the state's sixth road death in two days.

Police say the two men, aged 40 and 61, collided as they reached the crest of a hill on Yalwal Road, at Burrier, about 3.45pm (AEST) yesterday.

The younger man died at the scene while the second rider was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital with a broken left wrist.

It was the sixth death on NSW's roads in two days.

A 62-year-old man died after being hit by a van in West Tamworth yesterday morning.

Four people died in road accidents on Friday, including a truck driver whose semi-trailer rolled down an embankment near the Colo Bridge at Colo, northwest of Sydney.
