SELECTORS have announced the Australian Paralympic equestrian team for the London Olympics.

It is Rob Oakley (Grade 1a), Joann Formosa (Grade 1b), Grace Bowman (Grade 3) and Hannah Dodd (Grade 4).

The youngest member of the team is Hannah Dodd, at 20.

"I think riding into the arena for the first time in front of the crowd will be an awe-inspiring feeling and I'm really looking forward to it," Hannah said.

Joann Formosa is the eldest of the crew, at 51, but her excitement is no less than her fellow team members, including 50-year-old Rob Oakley who is "looking forward to riding at the elite level and trotting into the arena wearing the Australian uniform".

VAULTERS Emma Moulds, Lani Maher and Lee Briggs have been shortlisted for the world championships, which will be held from August 13-19 in Le Mans, France this year.

The trio were also named for the CHIO Aachen in July. Vaulting, described as gymnastics on horseback, is one of seven disciplines recognised by the Federation Equestre Internationale.
