DARREN Weir made it back-to-back rich country Cups when Streets Away took out the Kyneton Cup yesterday.

This win followed Puissance De Lune's runaway victory in the Bendigo Cup.

Former Queenslander Streets Away joined Weir's stables on the recommendation of former trainer Alan Bailey.

"He thought he would be suited being trained from my beach stables at Warrnambool," Weir said.

It was his and jockey Steven Arnold's first win in the $100,000 NMIT Kyneton Cup (2000m).
