NSW police yesterday removed about $4 million worth of cannabis concealed inside a bunker on a property southeast of Goulburn.
Detectives allegedly discovered 2006 cannabis plants being hydroponically grown in a shed which was concealed in an underground bunker, The Daily Telegraph reports.
Equipment allegedly used in the cultivation of cannabis, and a large amount of fertiliser, was also located on the rural property at Oallen.
Police will allege the cannabis has an estimated potential street value of $4 million.
Bandidos OMCG associate Joshua Jack Clarke, 25, of Mortdale, was arrested at the property, and taken to Goulburn police station.
Charged with indoor cultivation for commercial purposes, cultivate prohibited plant and organise or conduct drug premises, Clarke appeared briefly in Goulburn Court, where bail was refused.
He will face court again in January next year.
Police spoke to two other men on the property; they were released without charge pending further investigations.
