THE body of a Sydney man who fell overboard on a fishing trip in the NSW Snowy Mountains has been found.
Police say the 56-year-old, from Emu Plains in Sydney's west, fell from his motorboat on remote Lake Eucumbene in October.
His adult son jumped into the water and spent about 40 minutes searching for his father, then travelled on foot for five hours to raise the alarm.
The man was not found despite a massive four-day search, and his body was discovered about 10.30 yesterday morning by a 70-year-old who was out cruising on the lake.
