A WOMAN has been stopped twice within an hour for speeding in NSW's southern highlands.Highway patrol police clocked the 27-year-old driving at 173km/h in a 110km/h zone on the Hume Highway at Berrima shortly before 11pm (AEDT) last night, police said.
She was stopped and issued with an infringement notice.
The Guildford woman's licence was suspended on the spot and her car's registration plates were confiscated.
But about 40 minutes later, she was again stopped driving the same 2001-model Lexus sedan along the Hume Highway at Mittagong, police said.
They arrested her and she was later charged with driving while suspended, and driving an unregistered vehicle.
She is due to appear in Moss Vale Court on December 3.
