HAIGH'S Chocolates is the newest inductee to the South Australian Food Industry's Hall of Fame.
SA's food minister Gail Gago added Haigh's, Australia's oldest family owned chocolate manufacturing retailer, to the hall of fame on Friday night.
"Local favourite Haigh's were recognized for their vision in providing a world class choclate experience for consumers every time, as well as for their support work environment, and as a supporter of numberous causes including charities and the environment," Ms Gago said.
Other companies to be recognised at the gala dinner included Bickford's Australia, Barossa Valley Cheese Company, Sunfresh Salads and Savannah Lamb.
