A GIRL has died in a crash at Muntham, between Coleraine and Casterton this afternoon.

It is believed a livestock truck was travelling east on the Glenelg Highway when it left the road and rolled down an embankment about 3pm.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said one person had died at the scene.

He said a child was being taken to the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.

A woman, who has serious injuries, will be taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital while a man will be taken to Hamilton Hospital with minor injuries.
