DANGEROUS driving charges have been laid after a 52-year old woman was killed in an horrific crash in rural Western Australia.
In October, a Mitsubishi Triton was driving on Toodyay Road in Toodyay when police allege it crossed onto the wrong side of the road and into the path of an oncoming Honda Civic sedan.
The dead woman's 53-year-old husband who was driving the Honda received serious injuries and a four-year-old child in the other car suffered a fractured nose.
A 42-year-old woman from the eastern Perth suburb of Beechboro has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving occasioning bodily harm and driving with an alcohol level in excess of 0.08.
She will appear before Northam Magistrates Court on December 17.
