PARENTS at Holy Cross Primary School in New Gisborne were delighted when work on a much-needed school crossing began.
That was until they saw it finished.
Rowan Fitzgerald sent this picture of the new crossing that leads ... well, nowhere.
"Who else, after much campaigning, would install 130m of new concrete footpath and a children's crossing, and have it finish hard against the school boundary fence?" Rowan asked.
