THE threat of two bushfires burning near Western Australian communities has eased.
Warnings have been downgraded as there's no longer a danger to lives or homes.
There were fears the summer tourist destination of Bremer Bay in the state's Great Southern region could be threatened by a bushfire today, while a separate fire had broken out in a national park near Augusta in the state's southwest.
But both fires are now being controlled, with threat levels decreased from watch and act to advice in both cases.
