FIVE people have been killed in a fiery crash on the Pacific Highway at Coomera.
Gold Coast police say they believe two vehicles collided on the motorway around 12.10am (AEST) today and one of the vehicles caught fire, killing five people.
A sixth person was taken to Gold Coast Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Three southbound lanes of the Pacific Motorway are closed, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
Police are at the scene and investigations into the crash are continuing.
