WORKSAFE inspectors are investigating a fatal tractor rollover and a horrific accident involving a forklift in Victoria.
A farmer was killed on a Whanregarwen property after his tractor rolled on a slope.
Police said the man in his 70s was last seen on Sunday and was located by a family member at 1.30am this morning.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
WorkSafe investigators are also working on a Red Cliffs property, near Mildura in Victoria's north west, after a 28-year-old van driver was hurt yesterday.
A WorkSafe spokesman said the man was trapped after a tractor with a forklift tyne moved out of vines and T-boned the van.
The forklift attachment pierced the van's door and the man's leg trapping him for about three hours.
A Rural Ambulance spokesman said paramedics were called to the Kulkyne Way property at 9.26am yesterday.
He said the fork had penetrated the side of the vehicle and the man's right thigh.
A medical team from the Mildura Base Hospital assisted paramedics at the scene as emergency crews worked to free the man.
The man underwent surgery at the Base before being flown to the Alfred Hospital last night.
