A DOG fight in the main street of an historic Victorian gold mining town ended with one of the pets’ owners being stabbed.
The dogs’ owners came to blows in Dunolly, in central Victoria, shortly after 11am today, the Herald Sun reports.
A man, 39, was stabbed in the throat and taken to Maryborough District Hospital for treatment.
A McIntyre man, 55, was being questioned by police.
Neither dog was injured during the fight.
