WATER allocations have increased for the Broken and Campaspe irrigation systems.

The Broken seasonal determination is now at 100 per cent for both high and low reliability water shares, while the Campaspe system is at 100 per cent for high reliability water and 94 per cent for low reliability water.

The determinations in the Murray, Goulburn and Loddon systems are 100 per cent for high reliability water and the Bullarook system also remains unchanged at 100 per cent high reliability water and 100 per cent low reliability water.

The resource manager Dr Mark Bailey said the increase in seasonal determinations was partly due to low evaporation losses from Lake Nillahcootie and Lake Eppalock.

Dr Bailey said there were still large volumes required before a seasonal determination of low reliability water could be announced for the Murray, Goulburn and Loddon systems this season.
