TWO bushwalkers have been rescued after falling ill in the NSW Blue Mountains.
A 62-year-old man from North Curl Curl fell ill with abdominal pain while walking the Overcliff Track about 1.30pm (AEDT) yesterday, police said.
Emergency services, including police from the Blue Mountains Local Area Command and Ambulance Paramedics, were called and they reached the man about 2.30pm.
A second person then became unwell and also required help, police said.
Both patients were walked to a nearby location and then winched by ambulance helicopter from the area shortly before 5pm.
The 62-year-old man was taken to Blue Mountains Hospital, while the other unwell person was taken to Nepean Hospital.
They are both reported to be in a stable condition.
