A TOTAL Fire Ban is in place for parts of the Goldfields Midlands in Western Australia today.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services has issued the warning for the Shire of Laverton, and the Shire of Menzies, which will run for 24 hours until midnight tonight.People are warned not to light or use any flames in the open air, including at camping sites.
Hot work, including metal work, grinding, welding and soldering are also banned.
