A WOMAN has died in hospital after a car crash in Victoria's east earlier this month.
The 62-year-old had to be airlifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital after the car she was travelling in hit a tree at Noorinbee on January 7.
Police believe the driver, a 58-year-old man also from China, lost control of the vehicle.
He suffered minor injuries.
The death brings Victoria's road toll for 2013 to 13.
