TWO gold prospectors reported missing since Sunday have both been "safely located".
Anthony Sherry and Wayne Telfer were last seen in their 1994 Nissan Patrol vehicle with registration plates TEX5 about 6.30am on Sunday, Herald Sun reports.
They were heading towards bushland in the Walhalla and Tyres areas of Gippsland to go prospecting and were due to return home at 4pm.
The Herald Sun believes one of the men became ill and the other had been walking to try to raise the alarm.
Police say more details will be released later today.
