MARGARET Lewis saw The Weekly Times front page from January 9 of two boys cooling off on their horse in a dam during the recent hot spell.
She was reminded of an old newspaper photo (right) she had kept for decades.
It appeared in The Western Mail in Western Australia in 1931 and shows a lad using his horse as a diving board.
Just goes to show - there is nothing new in this game.
