TWO deaths in separate crashes have pushed Victoria's road toll up 17 for the year so far.
In the first crash, a car collided with a pedestrian in Moorabbin, in the city's south, around 5.50am on the Nepean Highway, police say.
The man died at the scene while the driver stopped and later spoke with police.
No charges have been laid at this time.
In the second crash, a single-vehicle rollover saw a driver die at Rushworth, near Echuca.
Police found the deceased man around 8.50am with his vehicle believed to have left the Bendigo-Murchison Road before smashing into a tree.
The two deaths push the state's annual road toll to 17 fatalities - 14 less than at the same point last year.
