GROWERS and supporters of the cherry industry are invited to the upcoming 2020 Vision conference.

The conference will discuss where the industry will be in seven years.

The Victorian Cherry Association will host the event.

The conference has been designed to increase awareness about future technology and teach growers about the latest orchard and packing shed technology.

International trends will be a focus point, including varieties and root stock.

There will also be a trade show and field day.

On day one growers will be addressed by keynote speaker, Hugh Dendy, a cherry grower in British Columbia and New Zealand, a favourite speaker at international conferences.

Day two will be a field day featuring on-farm demonstrations at Cherry Hill, Cobram East, Koala Country and Yarroweyah orchards.

In Cobram/Barooga region (location to be confirmed) on March 7 and 8.
