A WOMAN has escaped serious injury after her car was crushed between two trucks in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.
Two semi-trailers and the woman's car collided around 11am (AEDT) today on the Great Western Highway at Blackheath, police say.
The 34-year-old woman was trapped in her car for about 30 minutes before rescuers cut her free.
CareFlight said she was flown to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition with chest and leg injuries.
The truck drivers were not injured, Ambulance NSW said.
