FIREFIGHTERS are battling an out-of-control bushfire at Riddells Creek, near Mt Macedon.
The fire in the Mount Charlie Road area broke out this afternoon and is heading towards Romsey.A watch and act warning has been issued for Cherokee, Kerrie, Romsey and Riddells Creek.
The CFA have asked residents to follow their bushfire survival plans.
