MANSFIELD is the only regional stop for Channel 10's cooking smash hit MasterChef: The Professionals.
The Victorian High Country town is counting down to next Sunday's episode. The show was recently filmed from vantage points at The Paps and the Howqua Hills Historic Area near Sheepyard Flat.
The contestants were challenged to prepare a meal for 50 mountain cattlemen and horsemen over hot coals using local produce.
Mansfield Shire Mayor Russell Bate said Mansfield was the only regional Victorian location used during the series.
"It was an incredible opportunity to promote Mansfield as a destination and its mountain cattlemen and horse heritage on a national stage."
