UPDATE: A QUAD bike rider who went missing for three days in dense bushland east of Perth has been found alive.Paul Pyke, 35, had not been seen since he went quad bike riding with two friends at Sawyer's Valley on Sunday morning.
Police believed Mr Pyke did not have food or water with him and they held grave concerns for his health and safety during the current heatwave conditions.
Mr Pyke's quad bike was located in bushland just off Yarra Road earlier yesterday. Police confirmed just before 4pm (WST) he had been found safe and conscious.
He was found by Tactical Response Group officers who tracked him through bushland.
"He was immediately provided emergency first aid by those officers," the WA police said.
Police said would be transferred by ambulance to hospital.
The search used a helicopter and a heat sensing camera, State Emergency Service volunteers and mounted police.
