MARCH calving Holsteins joined to sexed semen attracted the most attention at Shepparton today.

The best of this 30 lot offering sold to $2100 for a cridigmann heifer joined to boulder sexed semen.

Half way through the 170 lot dispersal on behalf of John and Cindy Mc Kenzie of Katunga, autumn calving cows were mostly selling from $1400-$1700.

Lots joined to an easy calving Angus sire topped at $1800 for a young Holstein sired by cridigmann.

Locals dominated the buying with many looking to boost herd numbers.

Milkers without a confirmed pregnancy, but had been running with the Angus bull, were harder to move.

These sold from $800- $1500, with the better prices for younger animals with higher production.
