A FEMALE driver is dead and two men have been taken to hospital after a fatal crash in Mildura today.
The crash happened at the intersection of Ontario Ave and Seventeenth St about 11.50am.A Victoria Police statement said officers believe one vehicle was travelling south on Ontario Ave when it collided with another vehicle which was travelling west on Seventeenth St.
The female driver of the south-bound car died at the scene. A male passenger in the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mildura Hospital.
The male driver of the other car was also taken to hospital for observation.
Police believe the intersection will remain closed to traffic for several more hours yet.
