A BIG "G'day 'ow ya garn sport?" to Tony Abbott who declared last week the Coalition would speak with a strong Australian accent.

Well don't they always with perhaps the exception of Chris Pyne?

What he meant was their policies would always have an Australian accent.

Mr Abbott was responding to Labor's claim the Coalition was being heavily influenced by the American far-right Tea Party movement .

Never, said Mr Abbott, all the Coalition's policies were dinky-di, home-grown, Australian-made.

It's a wonder Labor did not claim all his policies were made in China after the leaflet was distributed in Melbourne's Chinatown during the recent Chinese New Year celebrations.
