UPDATE: TWO men have walked away with minor injuries after crash landing their light plane at Cape Clear, west of Ballarat.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said the pilot and a passenger did not require transportation and were treated at the scene by paramedics.
"They pair were lucky to escape serious injury after the plane clipped power lines on its descent," The spokesperson said.
The emergency landing happened just 500m from Cape Clear Primary School.
The pilot and a passenger are being treated at the scene for their injuries.
No students were hurt in the smash.
